Mushaga, a Congolese refugee who arrived in Uganda as a child, is now capturing audiences with his soulful music inspired by traditional griot storytelling and modern African rhythms.
In a recent concert in Kampala, Mushaga performed a touching set blending Lingala, Luganda, and English.
“Music is my bridge between my past and my dreams,” Mushaga told Krak On Radio.
His upcoming EP, “Journey of a Soul”, will feature collaborations with East African artists.
